User Guide for CytoFLEX S Analyzer

Abstract
This is the Caltech Flow Cytometry Facility's User Guide for the CytoFLEX S Analyzer. This guide is given to all investigators who are trained to run the CytoFLEX S in the facility. A copy is kept in a binder next to the instrument at all times along with all other CytoFLEX S related protocols. This user guide includes basic instructions for operating the instrument in both tube mode and plate mode. It also contains instructions for troubleshooting.
Before start
Make sure that you have checked the configuration of your instrument before purchasing reagents and preparing your samples. Before switching on the instrument, wipe down the area around the instrument with 70% ethanol or CaviWipes. Refill the sheath tank and empty the waste tank.
